Support Workshops

Workshops are facilitated by a licensed therapist and are kept confidential.  All workshops will be held online using a HIPPA-approved platform.

COPE Workshop

Wednesdays 12:00-12:30pm

This workshop will focus on managing the challenges of Health Sciences and Medical School training.  Emphasis will be on managing stress study skills and self-regulation.

Compassion Fatigue Workshop

Every Thursday 12:00-12:30pm
Repeats every 4 weeks

This group focuses on self-care and strategies to combat burnout and compassion fatigue.

Depression Management Support Group

Tuesdays at 5:00pm

If you struggle with symptoms of depression or would like to learn how to support others that may be struggling, you are welcome to join this group.

Multicultural Support Group

This support group is open to all students that would like a safe and inclusive place to have an open dialogue related to culture and race issues.

LBGTQ+? Support Group

This support group is open to all students that would like to build a culture of inclusion and openness on the ACHE College Campus and Fort Smith Community.

COVID-19 and Grief Support Group

This is an open group for those that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 as well as those that may be experiencing a loss of any kind.

QPR Suicide Awareness Gatekeeper Training

Every Monday 5:00-6:00pm September 14th, 21st, and 28th

Trauma and Abuse Support Group

Fridays at 4:00pm

This group is to allow students that have had a traumatic or significant emotional event happen in their lives to support one another.  Referrals available for trauma therapy.

The ACHE Center for Excellence in Wellness has been certified to provide training for suicide awareness.
