ACHE Commencement 2021
The Arkansas Colleges of Health Education commencement ceremony will be held on the third Saturday of May. It recognizes graduates of every college on campus in one unified ceremony.
Graduation Checklist
The items below are the minimum requirements.
- Complete the Graduation Application (sent via email by Registrar)
- Order your regalia
- RSVP here for all events
- Order announcements
- Attend the Graduation Gear-Up event on May 14th
- Attend the Commencement Ceremony on May 15th
- Congratulations, you are a part of the ACHE alumni!
Commencement Week Timeline
Wednesday, May 12, 2021 - Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society Banquet
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Sigma Sigma Phi (SSP) is the national osteopathic medicine honors fraternity. The annual awards banquet is by invitation only. SSP members only are invited to attend this event.
Thursday, May 13, 2021 - Awards Banquet
Time: 10:00-11:30am
Location: Fort Smith Convention Center

Guests: Each graduate will be allowed one guest for this event.
Attire: Business professional
DO Awards Banquet

Friday, May 14, 2021 - Graduation Gear-Up, Family Fish Fry & Alumni CME Event
Graduation Gear-Up
During this event graduates will pick up their regalia, receive ceremony instructions, take a final class picture together, and get financial advice from a guest speaker. This event is considered mandatory, if you are not able to attend, arrangements will need to be made in advance. Please email Student Services to request excused absences.
Location: ARCOM Building
DO Graduates Time: 8-11:30
MSB Graduates Time: 11:30 – 1pm
Family Fish Fry*

Come enjoy dinner on the front lawn of the ARCOM building. Students are invited to bring 5 guests (6 people per table). However, due to COVID we will be hosting 3 separate shifts so families can socially distance. Please watch your ACHE email for your assigned timeslot for dinner.
Alumni CME Event
The ACHE Alumni Association is offering a continuing medical education program on Friday, May 14 at the ACHE campus. More information is available by emailing Wonda Montgomery, Director of External/Alumni Relations.
Saturday, May 15, 2021 - ACHE Commencement Ceremony
10:00 am and 3:00pm
UAFS Stubblefield Center
532 N. Waldron Rd., Fort Smith, AR 72903
There will be two commencement ceremonies – 10:00am and 3:00pm. Graduates will receive an email with their timeslot. Graduates, please arrive at the Stubblefield Center wearing your cap and gown. There will be Ambassadors awaiting your arrival at the front door and can point you in the right direction. Graduates will be allowed to bring four guests.
