Debbie Findlay joins the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine team as the Director of Academic Support. Debbie has served as Academic Advisor and Advising Coordinator for the past seventeen years with the University of Arkansas -Fort Smith. Prior to her time with UAFS, she served as a Rehabilitation Counselor for both Arkansas and Texas Rehabilitation Commissions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rehabilitation Science from Arkansas Tech University and a Master of Education in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

Debbie lives in Greenwood with her husband, Les, along with their two rescue dogs, Ziva and Archie. They have one son, Brandon, who is a Gunnery SGT and Chief Drill Instructor for the United States Marine Corps, currently stationed in Parris Island, SC.

She enjoys visiting her two grandsons, Gage and Luke, whenever possible, and is a die-hard Razorback football fan.
