Sarah joins ARCOM with over 15 years of experience in healthcare, including pediatrics, geriatrics, surgical specialty, and academia. Her past positions include working as a Medical Staff Assistant for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Urology, Division of Pediatric Urology, Committee Legislative Assistant at the Minnesota House of Representatives, and other healthcare administrative roles, including Referral Coordinator and Insurance Benefits Analyst.

Sarah’s experience in both front-end patient services and the inception of clinics and clinical programs has developed her unique, holistic view of healthcare. One of her greatest accomplishments is being a part of the Division of Pediatric Urology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and helping their unranked program become a nationally ranked program within three years with the U.S. News Report in Urology.

Having experienced physician shortage personally and professionally, Sarah looks forward to furthering the Arkansas College of Health Education’s mission of bringing quality healthcare to the underserved of Arkansas.

Sarah lives in Fort Smith with her husband, Casey, and their two dogs, Lambeau (golden retriever) and Reiker (German shepherd). In their free time, they enjoy experiencing the Arkansas outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
