Ryan Sullivan, DO, is from the small town of Vian, Oklahoma. As the son of a quintessential family practice doctor, the impact of his father’s work inspired Ryan to become a doctor himself. Ryan earned his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He went to medical school at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. At OSU, Ryan founded the Wilderness Medicine Club and has hosted a Wilderness Medicine Survival Clinic since 2004. Ryan went on to an Emergency Medicine residency at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Intent on moving back to the area where he grew up, Ryan began his career as Medical Director at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital. Two years later, he went to work at Sparks Regional Medical Center. Ryan also maintains privileges at Mercy Fort Smith, Northeastern Health Systems in Tahlequah, and because of his love for teaching residents, Integris Southwest.

Ryan lives in his hometown, Vian, with his wife and five children. Ryan has a wide range of interests, but he especially loves the outdoors. He enjoys riding his horse, mountain biking, and rock climbing.

Ryan is excited to pursue one of his great passions: teaching.
