David L. McWhorter is Professor and Chair of Anatomy at ARCOM. Before pursuing his post-secondary education, Dr. McWhorter served four years of active duty in the United States Navy. Dr. McWhorter has over 25 years of teaching experience, during which time he has taught undergraduate and graduate students, allied health science students, and allopathic and osteopathic medical students. Dr. McWhorter directs the Fundamentals of the Anatomical Sciences course and oversees the ACHE Anatomical Donation Program. Outside of academia, Dr. McWhorter enjoys living a rural life, ATV riding, target shooting, and watching MMA.
