Amanda Evenson earned undergraduate degrees in business administration and communication, followed by a master’s degree in human relations from The University of Oklahoma.

While at OU she began her career in the Office of Research Services coordinating compliance on federal research grants. After moving back to the Fort Smith area to be closer to family, Amanda had a stint in the non-profit and private sectors, but she feels right at home being back in higher education.

Amanda is married to Aaron and has 2 step-daughters, Kloey and Alexis, and son, Aiden.
