Constitution and Citizenship Day
Constitution and Citizenship Day is used to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution that occurred on September 17, 1787. It is a congressional initiative requirement for all educational institutions that shall receive federal funding to offer an educational program to the students it serves on September 17th of each year. If September 17th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday the institution may hold this on the preceding or following week.
The Arkansas Colleges of Health Education shall receive federal funding under Title IV, HEA programs. The Student Support Services Director offered an educational program to students the week of September 18, 2017 to commemorate Constitution and Citizenship Day.
